seaside resort town and part dormitory town for Belfast, Bangor
is located at the mouth of Helen's Bay in Belfast Lough and
at the northern end of the Ards Peninsula.
A population of 52,437 makes it the largest town in County Down.

Buses from Belfast leave from the Laganside Buscentre every
20 minutes or so. There are also buses from Bangor to Newtownards,
Danaghadee, and Millisle.
There are trains every half-hour to and from Belfast Central
Station.
