Lifford
(population 1,275) is situated in east Donegal, just inside
the border with Tyrone and very near Strabane and all of its
amenities.
Attractions
The
heritage centre in the 18th-century courthouse, located in The
Diamond, tells the story of Donegal's Gaelic chieftains and
relates some of the courthouse's more colourful cases. Open
all week from Easter to October.
