| The road
system serves Kinsale very well. Driving
from Cork City is relatively simple, and
Cork international airport is just
thirteen miles away. Kinsale may also be
considered a gateway to West Cork, and
there are picturesque routes to follow
from Kinsale heading west.
Buses from Cork City central bus station
and Cork Airport run at least 4 times daily. Journey time

A taxi
from Cork City to Kinsale is about a 30
minute journey and costs IR£20 each way.
There is
a main line railway station in Cork City,
but the line does not extend to Kinsale.
Car hire is widely available, and may be arranged
prior to arrival at the Airport or Railway Station with
Budget (TEL:- (++) 353 (0) 21 4274755) and several other
International and local companies. Kinsale also offers
car hire facilities.
