RESTAURANT
During the day you can sample our light lunch menu. Children are welcome too and we have a special menu for them up to 7.30pm.

In the evenings the atmosphere is transformed into a warm and intimate Wine Bar.

We offer a unique selection of dishes at prices to suit all pockets. Created with international flavours, combining traditional European cuisine with ethnic touches-using local produce.

We also have exciting dishes for vegetarians and coeliacs, together with an interesting selection of wines.

POTTERY

Each piece of pottery is unique and created using various techniques.

The functional ware is hand-thrown in stoneware and earthware clay on potters wheels and then slip decorated individually then twice-fired. Recently we have also been working with red terracotta clay using sawdust firing to achieve a burnished and smoked finish.

Pottery Workshops are held on the premises, where beginners are introduced to a number of different techniques and decorating ideas, to help them develop their own styles and methods of working with clay.

More experienced people can work on perfecting technique or experiment with colour and texture.

All standards of enthusiast are catered for.

Crackpots is situated at the top of Market Lane, or the bottom of Cork Street, between the Garda Station and the Desmond Castle Wine Museum.

What you can buy and order
The Crackpots Range of functional pottery ~ as well as a selection of unique designs for more decorative use ~ wonderful to collect or give as presents. Commissions are undertaken.

The Workshops are held in the mornings and evenings, for all standards of enthusiast and one or two day courses can be arranged for visitors on request.
